Juxtaposition Arts Textiles Workshop: Renowned artist Roger Cummings will lead a nine-day workshop on various textile arts—make your own hat, design a t-shirt, learn about screen-printing, more!

SPNN video production workshop: Learn the basics of shooting and editing video and create PSAs about topics that are important to you.

JumpstART Workshops: Want to make money with your art? Want to build a career doing what you love? These three workshops will teach about portfolio building, college classes, career planning and more. Get the tools you need succeed!

HMONGLISH!
An incredible musical theater piece from the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent, HMONGLISH will make you laugh and cry and think and much more.  We're showing it for FREE.  Open to all ages.

MC Bootcamp w/ Guante: This interactive workshop will help aspiring MCs hone their craft AND their business skills. We'll talk about hip hop songwriting, how to market yourself, how to get shows, social media and much more!

B-boy/B-girl Dance Workshop w/ Jon Truong: For beginners or vets, this workshop will be all about breakdancing.

Cooking Workshop: Learn how to make five different dishes from five different cultures!

Let us Live a Little Hip Hop Show featuring Enablemind, Opus 1, Matt Jarvy, live art and more.

Winter Break Slam Poetry Bootcamp: An intensive, interactive, five-day workshop for young spoken-word artists who want to be the best they can be. Facilitated by Tish Jones, Khary Jackson, Sierra DeMulder and Guante!

B-Boy/B-girl Jam: Check out some local dance crews showcasing their talent.

"Asian Amazicans" Spoken-Word and Hip Hop Open Mic: a celebration of Asian-American voices. $1-$5 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away. Hosted by Tou Saik Lee.

Visual Journal Drawing Workshop w/ Kara Newbauer: This interactive workshop is for people who like/love to draw. Draw your thoughts, whether portrait, still-life, fantasy or whatever, and get some good feedback from a pro.

Capturing Your Identity in Photos and Words w/ Jila Nikpay: A one-of-a-kind photography workshop that explores identity, culture and YOU. Work on capturing portraits, learn about basic lighting and framing techniques and much more. A great opportunity for both beginners and camera experts.

Spring Concert Series w/ rapper-in-residence Kristoff Krane: A fun concert series showcasing some of the top performers in the Twin Cities matched up with up-and-coming teen performers. Featuring Guante, Carnage, See More Perspective, West Side Teen Power, Irenic, Just Wulf, Unknown Prophets, Kosha Dills, Heidi Barton Stink, Zac HB, Mizfit and more.

Shuffled Under the Desk: Open Mic for Education: Do you have something to say about your school, your teachers or education in general. This will be an open space to express yourself, whether through poetry, song or just talking.

Quest for the Voice Poetry Slam: Canvas will be hosting a preliminary bout in the annual Quest for the Voice teen poetry slam series.  Open to poets aged 13-19.
